An intimate Wedding at Bartle Hall in Lea

Back in December 2019 I filmed the Wedding of Linzy & Craig at Bartle Hall in Lea near Preston. Linzy & Craig are a lovely couple that met on a dating site called ‘Plenty more Fish’ – the story of which comes out in this wedding film trailer included in this post. This was a lovely wedding for Linzy & Craig- surrounded by the Family and close friends this wedding had an intimate feel to it.

Bartle Hall as a Wedding Venue…

I have had the privilege of Filming a couple of weddings already at Bartle Hall and I have always found this a delightful wedding venue for a couple of reasons; firstly where Bartle Hall is situated in the countryside away from the hub Bub and with a very private feel to it. Also the staff that work there are very accommodating and helpful.  Bartle Hall is also very tastefully decorated with some grand elements like the Chandeliers help to give a wedding that special vibe.

The last wedding I filmed at Bartle Hall was outsiders they have a space dedicated to outdoor weddings which is always very nice and adds a whole different feel to a wedding.

Linzy & Craig

Linzy & Craig’s Wedding was lovely as it was quite emotional and I always feel that it’s an incredible honour to capture for people what is often one of the most important moments in their life and this is one reason why I love my job.  Linzy and Craig were very easy going and a delight to work with. I had met theme both before the wedding for coffee and it was nice to hear their story ad get to know them a little before the wedding.

 

Storytelling…

To me it’s very important that my films ‘tell a story’ after all wedding film making is essential Documentary Film making at it’s best capturing one of the biggest events in someone’s life and telling a story. I alway look out for details, story narrative either during the ceremony or speeches (mostly speeches) and incorporate that into the film. In my mind it makes the wedding video much more enjoyable to one and gives is a narrative (story) hope fully I achieved that here.
