In the following terms & conditions “videographer” shall mean Julian Voigt Trading as Julian Voigt Wedding Films. “The Client(s)” shall be those persons defined as bride and groom in the wedding booking. It is agreed that the following terms set out the total agreement made between the parties and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing.

Booking Fee / Deposit Payments
A non-refundable booking fee of £400 secures the date of the clients wedding and services of the videographer for the wedding and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the videographer due to cancellation. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the clients chosen package when calculating the final payment due. Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due four weeks before the wedding day. Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the videographer can re-schedule for the new date and time.

Wedding Arrangements
The details of the wedding arrangements are to be agreed 28 days beforehand in writing via a schedule form supplied by the Videographer. The Client shall notify the Videographer of any changes to these details in writing. The Videographers typical day includes filming from Bridal Prep (dependant on package chosen) to First Dance and commencement of dancing by guests unless stated in writing otherwise.

Cancellation
The Client(s) may cancel within 14 days of the date of this contract and receive a full refund of the Booking Fee. After this the contract can be cancelled at any time by giving written notice to the Videographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. Cancellation less than 10 weeks before the wedding will result in the payment in full becoming due. All cancellations must be in writing.

Display
The Client(s) hereby allow (the videographer to display any video covered by this contract to general purposes of promoting the business of the videographer in advertising, websites, and social media. Copyright is held by Julian Voigt Wedding Films on all videos produced by Julian Voigt Wedding Films.

Force Majeure or Act of God
The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their control. Although all equipment is checked regularly and reasonable steps are taken to ensure backup equipment is available, the Videographer will not be responsible for footage that is not produced due to technical failure beyond all possible controlled measure by the videographer. In the unlikely event that Julian Voigt Wedding Films is unable to deliver a completed wedding film because of the reason(s)
stated above all monies paid will be refunded in full. No compensation will be paid to the client over and above the already paid fee by the client.

Attendance
In the unlikely event of the assigned Videographer being unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstance, we reserve the right to appoint another videographer to attend your wedding on our behalf to undertake the wedding videography to his/her best ability and to a similar standard as the original videographer.

Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of total video/equipment failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstance the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Delivery of Final Video
The delivery of the final video shall be within 8-10 weeks of the Wedding date unless specified otherwise by the Client(s)

Filming on Location
When filming a wedding in an uncontrolled environment the Videographer is sometimes limited by venue restrictions or the layout of the venue, this is often the case in religious buildings. It is understood by the Client(s) that the videographer will work to the best of his ability in each location and judge the best shot for each set of circumstances.

Editing
By agreeing to employ Julian Voigt Wedding Films to film your wedding, you are giving consent to full creative control licence in shot composition, direction and editing, music choose, colour grading and overall look of all the final films. Editing a wedding video is an extremely time-consuming exercise, a typical wedding video can take over 25 hours to edit. All editing is done alone by Julian Voigt even minor alterations can be very time consuming, unless there is an obvious mistake, an hourly charge of £50 will be made for any extensive alterations other than mistakes as already specified.

We the Client(s) have read and understand the terms and conditions and agree that this forms the contract between Julian Voigt Wedding Films and yourselves.
